Snh.III, 3 אוֹסְפֵי שביעית those who harvest the fruits of the Sabbath year (forstorage); ib. 26a אוֹסְפִין (opp. to סוחרין traders in fruits of the Sabbath year). Nif. נֶאֱסַף 1) to be gathered; to be taken away (by death). Num. R. s. 14 (p. 257d> ed. Amst.) והם נֶאֱסָפִים לשָׁמְעוֹ and they (the people) gather themselves to hear him. Ib.
